How do I house my juvenile birds and help them become acclimated to their new home?

Your rare juvenile birds will have been previously raised in a large flight pen with other birds- the pen is large and airy, gives them room to wander and flap around a bit. We recommend a similar set up, especially for when you first receive them since they will be a little skittish from their journey.

Please note, just because you ordered their wings clipped or pinioned doesn't mean that your birds can't get away- they are still able to flap around 8 ft high to scale fences and enclosures. Covering off the top (like an aviary) is the best way to ensure that your investment is well protected.
